I'm going to kill my co-worker.
OH DEAR LORD! And to make matters worse, the project he's working on is for an annoying client that calls with questions all the time. I think he kind of encourages it, but then complains about it when they get off the phone.
I just wrote my other co-worker an e-mail about how work was going this morning. here's the office from 830am-9am:
He said today that he was needed to get away from the computer for a little bit. His "getting away from it" means coming out into the open area and annoying me. He actually said he was going to have me act as a counselor and let me hear his gripes about his client. I kind of wanted to say, "well then can I complain to you about my really annoying co-worker that i want to kill?"
but i didn't. i just said i wouldn't be a good shrink 'cause i'm not a patient person.
and the annoying client just called and had another change. So instead of just asking what it was and changing it, he invited her to come on by and meet with her for another few hours. I really think he does it so that he can complain about how often they come in.
and, btw new creepy guy, i'm not the god damn secretary. answer the freaking phone sometimes.!
*cough* well that's out of my system now. for a few minutes anyway.
Today is the day the Luckies are supposed to play in Chi-town....I'm not sure if I can go though! I'm so so mad! I am absolutely broke. broker than I've ever been before. I was broke last time they were here. they're going to think I'm a doofus who never has money.
But I get paid tuesday. please come back tuesday.!!! I might be able to go if I'm on the list. but I hate to do that. I hate to ask to get on the list for a friend's band, expecially when they're travelling from abroad and they could so use the money.
oh well, i guess I'll see if it's likely that i could make it up there.
maybe marky will e-mail and just say, "hey, btw, you're on the list for tonight, come play!"
that'd be nice.
right then. back to work/trying to not kill co-worker

2003-07-25 - 12:51 p.m. a lunch to die for I'm having possibly, the worst lunch ever. popcorn, caffeine-free pepsi, and a reeses peanut butter cup.> yeah, can you tell that I have no money? 'cause I don't. The popcorn was bought buy my boss from some boy scout and is one of those 50 bags in teh box, kind of a deal. the pepsi is, i think, for all of us. and the pb cup was left here from my bm's wife. > so basically i stole my lunch and i didn't even steal anything good.> man, being broke sucks balls>-*-*-*-*-*-*-* 2003-07-25 - 1:24 p.m. I promise I'm not on a killing rampage. I read something in the paper the other day about how it was prettu common for college graduates to move home to their parents after graduation. Grad schools were getting harder to get into and jobs were harder to come by then they had been in the 10 years previous to that. that said, my advice: don't ever move home with your parents. I'm serious. They're lovely to visit. but I know I've complained before about how weird it was when I moved home 'cause my dad would wait up for me, even though i didn't have a curfew or anything. anyway. Nothing specific has happened. I just hate knowing that my parents are viewing me as inconsiderate for any thing that I "don't do". It's kind of hard to please people who change their opinions daily. i don't know. i just feel like once i move out it'll be SO much better. we might not kill each other. which is a good think 'cause we're all kind of cute and the world would be at a loss. *-*-*-*-*-* 2003-07-25 - 3:33 p.m. ahh. budweiser I've just become one of those people that sigh after taking a pull off of a Budweiser. ahh. Day has been so "not good" that I decided to have a beer at work. creepy mc creepy agrees and now we're noth drinking and drafting. we're like a "what not to do" video for the workplace. oh well. i'm cranky
