j'adore working from the house of sin

can I just say that J'adore living in sin? It's not so much the nooky bit of things. It's having someone who will massage your feet after a long day. It's having someone go "hey, I'll feed Lola and walk her this morning. You take your time getting ready and into work."

ahhhhh. so nice. Plus nuke's totally cool with just sitting around drinking red wine, eating chocolate, and reading together. In fact it was his idea. We don't have tv at our house and so basically we would end up just putting a movie in until we nearly fall asleep and have to stumble into the bedroom. But last night he curled up with M0by d!ck and I curled up with the d@vincic0de. Which I've finally given into and am reading. and already am pulled into it and almost missing my stop on the train this morning. Damn you d@n br0wn.

oooo. I got to work at home yesterday afternoon. I was waiting for the gas guy to come and turn on our gas (which is already on so i think it's a formality). So I've decided that I'm totally working from home whenever I can. It is SO nice. and I actually got a lot done. which is surprising because i figured i wouldn't do any work and just putter around the apartment. I ended up working until 7pm when luke came home from volunteering at the hospital. Total shock. I guess I didn't have as many distractions as I do at work...ie the internet and co-workers.

Anyway, the gas guy ended up not coming out (they said they came by and no one answered-which is a lie because someone was always there all day). So they're supposed to come by tomorrow sometime between 8am and 4pm...so basically i'm not coming into work tomorrow and am going to work from home. So that will be nice.

and now i'm going to go back to working on schematic designs for a rehab we're doing for a friend of my bosses (re: we don't get paid for it).

but good news with that is that i'm taking on more responsobility at work....which means ms barb is going to be asking for a raise in a few weeks.
