KC Chrissy?

I'm so excited. Miss chrissy might be moving to Kansas City. When she came in for the interview she wasn't sure she even wanted the job and was just using the weekend as an excuse to see us. But now that she's met the people at the EPA she really really wants the job and everyone here really really wants her to take it.

Oh and her visit was so lovely. I am so incredibly lucky to have the good friends that I have. Chrissy is by far one of the best. We have been through so much together and know each other so well that it's always ALWAYS fabulous when we get back together. No matter how long it has been. I know it was kind of weird when she came back for the wedding 'cause it had been so long since we had really talked and hung out together. We got out of that funk pretty fast but I think I know the reason for it now. Which was something she really didn't talk about when she was in Colorado. I think that she wasn't 100% happy there. Yeah, the climate and location was fabulous for her. But she didn't have any close-close friends. The ones she did had didn't mesh that well and it just put a sour taste in her mouth. But if she moves back to the midwest she's close to good-good friends and I think it'll be better for her mental health.

besides that note I'm just studying for my big test tomorrow and procrastinating doing that by cooking all day. I am so good at procrastination. Though I met someone to learn from. A girl getting her PhD in my department actually renovated her attic so that she could have somewhere to write her dissertation. Now THAT'S procrastinating.

well I've got to check on my mushroom soup that's simmering and see if it's time to put the foccacia in the oven. Man I love when it's all autumn weather out 'cause my house produces such good scents!
