Well tomorrow is Nuke's last day of tests. yahoo! He's had 8 weeks of class and now they test the crap out of them. Poor buddy. He's been sleeping horribly. But tomorrow will be lovely because it's his birthday! So once he's done with his hard hard tests we've got friends coming in from out of town to play with us. We're going to drink some much-deserved beer and eat some yummy yummy pizza up at Shakespeare's and then home to eat some DELICIOUS turtle cake.
When Miss Erin and I used to live together she always made this cake for her birthday (which just so happened to fall one day before mine!). Oh my god it is so freaking good. It is so horrible for you but sooooo worth the extra walking/marathon running you need to do to work it off. I could die happy eating this cake.
So to carry on the tradition of fabulous birthday cakes for my baby I'm going to make this one for him.
Right, well I'm going to go work on homework. Nuke has all next week off so I know I'm going to be not as focused on schoolwork. Meaning I should get it done before "bingefest 2005"
Oh and we might also go to Hermann for Octoberfest this weekend. Man I love fall.
