complain complain

oh I am quite fed up with working for the department. I got an e-mail last night from the head of the department that was actually a reply to someone else who was backing out of doing work. I was cc'd because department head decided that would be fine, I'll just have barb, "who is my TA and assigned to these sorts of tasks" do it all. ARGH! So I had to send a very polite e-mail saying that, as I had told her earlier, I will not be available the entire day in question because I have classes all day and those classes are all having tests their next class period so I best be there. Which is totally true because that entire weekend I've been warned that I am "on call" by department head and so my concentration is going to be shot for trying to study for these tests. The accreditation teams leaves the following Tuesday, when I have my first test, and then I need to start the take-home essay test that will be due Thursday. Most other students will have had the entire weekend to work on it. I will have 1.5 days. rock! Oh- and one of those days is my birthday. The team is leaving on Miss Erin's b-day and then I'll be writing essays all day on my birthday. talk about an AWESOME gift.
And what sucks is that I need to go into school soon to start working on more of this crap. I'm so grumpy because of it that I can't even concentrate to do the work I had planned to get done this morning done.
So I'm complaining online.
Oh barbns. buck up! I'm going to finish my coffee. Get lola to eat breakfast. And head in to the library to read for ahile and then I'll head in to the department.
