I am alive but just barely. I’ve been oh-so-busy at work. Plus wedding planning is taking a lot out of me. Throw in the fact that Luke is really sick and we have one exhausted bArb who’s trying not to overdo herself because she doesn’t want to get sick as well.
I went wedding dress shopping last Saturday with my mom. I hated it. I don’t want a “wedding dress” wedding dress. I just want a cool ivory dress that looks good on me and that I can pull off as a “yes, I’m seriously getting married” dress.
I did find a cute dress that wasn’t your typical wedding dress. However it was still by a wedding dress designer and so therefore it costs $4000. what the f*ck is up with that?! I found a picture of it online and so I might go and have it made for me. I don’t know. I just wanted to find a somewhat reasonably priced dress in a store but so far no luck. If anyone has any suggestions on cool stores that have nice dresses (preferably in ivory) puh-lease let me know!
Right. Well back to work. I’m trying to work off a killer headache. It sucks. I might have to succumb to the pressure and go and get a coffee from the grocers on the corner. argggh
