cards vs sox

man, i know i've talked about how getting your hair washed by a professional is one of the best this ever....an i was so telling the truth.
I went to a barber shop/ hair salon right down the street from my office at lunch. Man, getting your hair washed is one thing, but getting it washed in the middle of the work day?! could life get any better? I argue that it cannot.
mmmm. so now i'm all clean and my hair is all trimmed and my boss is gone all this week...man, happy girl over here.
So didn't really do that much this weekend. already talked about friday night. saturday I took lola for a 5 mile walk. then Luke and I went to dinner in forest park. Such lovely weather. Oh-and it's our anniversary! Or it was on saturday. so it was wonderful and being in love is quite the cozy thing.
sunday I slept in for a bit and luke got up to work on papers. finally rolled out of bed around 10-ish when my parents called. They're in Boston visiting my brother an dhis lady friend. The weather has been freezing for them and horribly rainy. But they said the city was going nuts with sox fever.
Kind of weird 'cause I live in St. Louis and my bro lives in Boston and I'm rooting for the sox and he's rooting for the cards.
See I think the deal is we both have to put up with fanatic fans all the time and so we tend to root for the other team...that and the Sox are deserving of this win because the cards are playing like shit. Seriously, they better kick it into gear in a bit otherwise it's going to be embarrassing to be from st. louis.
right. well i'm off to go measure some buildings. then i need to go to the DMV to get a new license that says i'm living and voting in st louis.
